With a quickest look we can tell that it is not 400 stars. Man, you decrease the price very much!!
The previous poster is correct. There are 4,048 stars on the wall. Standing in front of the marker is one of the most solemn places in all of DC. If you don't shed a tear, you just don't understand.
Each star represents 100, not 1000, so in the end your total number is close. It's just that the count is wrong.
