I can see the general news and people talking on the news, but it is continuously on general topics only.

Also, there seems to be a pre-occupation with other revolutions. Not that they aren't important to the over all situation in the region, but it seems almost distracting from the work that needs to be done on the ground.

And, friend, I'm not trying to bring you down. I am just hoping to point your optimism and enthusiasm in the direction needed to insure the future that you want.

I will think over what you said and make a better reply.

I would like to know how you are organizing your own "peer groups" for the next round. Sandmonkey said something about handing out leaflets the other day. Would love to get a better report to share with others so that we can all have the optimism that you have for the near future.

Yours,
KatKat-Mohttp://themiddleground.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7152221.post-21559778469690152932011-02-20T19:08:14.873-06:002011-02-20T19:08:14.873-06:00Hi Kat,

I didn't say that I'm not worried, I'm telling that you in the West you shouldn't be worried so much... alienating the Muslim Brotherhood will not be for your own benefit. Of course as a liberal I'm worried about the MB reaching power and I know how far they reached in the society, they had 80 years years to organize with Multiple franchises around the world you have one in the US it's called CAIR, but I'm postponing my worries for the time being NOT because I believe the MB have changed as they claim and ready to work in a secular agenda but because the revolution is far from over and whether we like it or not the MB had an active role in this revolt. We would've all got killed by Mubarak thugs on the Bloody Wednesday or the "Battle of the camel day"... if the MB self-defense tactics weren't there... BUT we know that Mubarak pets are still in charge and the NDP is applying divide and conquer tactics. Our counter-tactic is basically to remain leaderless to avoid smear campaigns and remain united whether we are on the left or right... if you're following closely... you will see a whole bunch of new faces popping in the Media but with the same demands... and at the same time we are calmly organizing our own peer-groups and setting path for a leadership to emerge that can guarantee fulfilling our ideology and also win the hearts of the majority of Egyptians... we are fully aware that we will inevitably go on our own ways sooner or later. I hate to sound too confident but optimism is all we have right now!Rashidnoreply@blogger.com
